Yes, yes! I took a long time writing these. Just so you know, I have been planning the next weeks, so more reviews will be up sooner than later. Besides the main reviews, i’ll be introducing “50 words or less”, which will focus exclusively on capsule reviews of albums I may have missed along the way.
Along with these, i’ve got quite a few coming out next week, including a battle of the classic guitar bands between Dinosaur Jr. and Sonic Youth, the weirdness that abounds Sunset Rubdown’s new one, and an exclusive review of Idlewild’s pre release for fans “Post Electric Blues”, plus many more.

Though Nirvana has been turned into the era defining phenomenon that Kurt Cobain would probably vomit over, you can’t help but really wonder what was coming next from this band. The thing is that there was no problem with Nirvana the band, the problem was with the mass hysteria, the psycho fans, the posers calling it god’s music and record execs wanting to milk the cow for all it was worth.

Out of all the bands I could think of that I would love one more album from, topping the list would definitely be Soundgarden. Yes I am a child of the 90′s and no I will not apologize for it. I wear plaid and I wear it proud and when I look at my musical collection, Soundgarden definitely stands out from other bands because few groups got that much better from album to album than Soundgarden.

There are some bands that meet an early demise. Could be drug use, a death or maybe everyone in the band just hated each other. What is an undeniable truth is that most times, people are left wanting at least one final album from the band. These people created music that influenced your life but their run was cut short, or maybe it just felt short, because three albums for us can be eight years for a band.
If I take time to think about all the bands I wish I could have had one more go with, well the list would be long as hell… so why not write about it. So consider this a would be post series of bands I wish I could have gotten one more for the road.

I’m not referring to lap dances, your favorite chicken sandwich or the motel room you frequent. This is about the Deluxe Edition box set for Ten. Seems as though diehard Pearl Jam fans are in store for one hell of a year and though I’ve been meaning to write about this for a while, it took until today to finally get it together, sit down and put my thoughts into little jumbled letters in a sequence.
