El documental sobre el punk rock de los 90 One Nine Nine Four ya esta terminado, pero necesitan donaciones para poder pagar las licencias de la musica y evitar problemas legales.

Como si Death no pudiera estar mas alante de lo que ya está por solo haber existido, Mos Def va producir un documental para seguir inmortalizando al increíble trió de Detroit.

Critically acclaimed hip hop artist and actor Mos Def is collaborating with Damon Dash of Roc-A-Fella Records to produce a documentary about pioneering punk outfit, Death. The all-black outfit formed in Detroit, Michigan, in 1971 and the film will be directed by Coodie and Chike, who are known for working on videos for Kanye West and Mos Def.
The reunited band is set to appear at Fun Fun Fun Fest in November and is currently on tour. They performed and recorded in the early 70s, predating many of early punk bands, but were mostly lost to history and record collectors until this year. Recent reissues and a profile by the New York Times recently put the band back in the spotlight.

Hace diez años lo más que escuchaba era punk rock. En algún momento en el 2000 descubrí a The Nerve Agents. Honestamente, no tengo ni la más mínima idea de cómo fue. Sólo me acuerdo de mandar a pedir el CD de Days Of The White Owl por Interpunk poco después de su salida.
